Welcome to our tryout information page for Team GA Baseball Academy. Team GA is proud to be the former travel baseball "home" of the #1 pick in the 2018 MLB draft, Casey Mize. Our academy has also earned the title of Perfect Game WWBA National Champs in the 15,1 6, and 17U age groups.
Team GA Baseball Academy will be conducting open tryouts for its 2019/2020 academy teams for ages 11-18U. Team GA tryouts will be conducted by Chris McRaney, Taylor Morton, Randy Phares, and Matt Campbell, along with assistance from other Team GA coaches.
Tryout clinics will be held at multiple locations in the Atlanta area. Those locations are Riverwood HS, Milton HS and Denmark HS.
Old Milton HS- 86 School Dr. Alpharetta GA. Serving Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Cumming areas
Denmark HS- Serving Forsyth County, North Fulton County, Gwinnett County, Hall County, and North GA Mountains
Milton HS- Serving Alpharetta, Milton, and Roswell and areas
Riverwood HS- Serving the Buckhead, Atlanta, South Atlanta, Cobb County areas
All of the above are locations we use as an organization. These various geographical options for tryouts and practice were secured to accommodate more families in the Atlanta area, as we understand logistics can sometimes make getting kids to tryouts/practice/games can be challenging. Therefore, our hope is that providing these additional options for locations will make that somewhat easier. In the event of inclement weather on a tryout date you will be emailed or text with any changes. We will also post changes on our website.

NOTE: Makeup tryouts are only for players who either have not previously attended scheduled tryouts, or who have been specifically asked to return for a second look. All other players need NOT attend makeup tryouts. The TBD dates will be announced online here, no later than 7/20/19.

- Check-in will begin 1 hour prior to all tryout start times
- Clinic hours may run shorter or longer than listed above, depending on different variables.
- If a “Developmental Team” in age 12U or younger, please see this page for additional details and requirements.
- Both 12U Cooperstown teams will have a Cooperstown certificate available.
- Player team age is determined by the player's age as of 4/30 or high school graduation year for applicable events.
- Players will need to bring the following items to the tryout: Cleats, turfs, baseball pants, any shirt, hat, glove, bat and anything else the player feels he or she needs. Please also bring drinks and a snack. For any tryouts @ Riverwood HS the concession stand will be open.

Clinic Cost:
11U-13U ($50)
14U-18U- ($75)
Additional Note: Walk-ups are allowed. We plan for each of our workouts based on pre-registration to make sure all our workouts are properly staffed so there will be an additional $25 cost over and above the original cost for any day of tryouts walk ups.
